Today we spent the afternoon at Hadano Tokawa Park —
kami lang apat: ako, si hubby, at ang dalawang bata.
We arrived around 5pm, just in time to see the sun slowly setting behind the mountains.
Tahimik ang agos ng ilog, at ramdam ang kapayapaan sa paligid.
It reminded me how amazing our God is —
the beauty of His creation and the peace He gives in moments like these.
Si Carl naglalaro kasama ang mga bata,
habang nagtatawanan at nagtatampisaw sila sa tubig —
full of joy, full of life.
And I couldn’t help but be so thankful to the Lord
na binigyan Niya kami ng ganitong moment of peace.
In that moment, I was so grateful, so happy —
habang nakikita ko silang masaya.
I took the time to pause and pray,
to thank Him for every blessing —
from the smallest to the greatest —
and for reminding me that He never leaves us.
In every season of life —
in joy and in sorrow, in loss and in victory —
He is always there.
At sa tahimik na sandaling iyon, bulong ko kay Lord…
“Sana ganito lagi.”
Simple. Masaya. Kumpleto.
Sobrang thankful ako sa pamilyang binigay Niya,
sa ganda ng creation Niya,
at sa mga slow, sacred moments
na nagpapaalala ng Kanyang kabutihan.
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul.” — Psalm 23:2

Encouragement to Others
Sometimes, we just need to slow down.
To pause.
To appreciate what God has already given.
The small things.
The small victories.
The simple joys.
Because if we never take the time to pause and pray,
we might miss the blessings that are already right in front of us.
