【今井龍満 追悼展示 - メナード美術館】
メナード美術館で7月8日から開催中の『なつやすみ所蔵企画 えともじ展』に、今年2月に急逝された今井龍満の収蔵作品を、追悼展示「今井龍満 RYUMA IMAI」として展示して頂いております。
一昨年2023年夏、メナード美術館開館35周年記念展の一環として個展が開催されたばかりで、作家としては正にこれからの活躍が期待されている中、図らずも追悼展示ということになりましたが、作品をご高覧頂き、今井龍満の足跡を追想して頂けましたら幸いです。
▪️展覧会名：なつやすみ所蔵企画 えともじ展（文字で読み解く美術の世界）
*展示室-第5室にて「追悼展示 今井龍満 Ryuma IMAI」を展観
▪️会場：メナード美術館（485-0041愛知県小牧市小牧五丁目250番地）
▪️会期＆時間：7月8日（火）〜9月23日（火） 10:00〜17:00（最終入館 16:30 迄）
・休館日: 月曜日 (但し、7/21、8/11、9/15、9/22は開館)、7/22(火)、8/12(火)、9/16(火)
At the Menard Art Museum, the exhibition “Eto-Moji: An Exhibition from the Natsuyasumi (summer holiday) Collection” has been on view since July 8. As part of this exhibition, a special memorial exhibit titled “In Memory of RYUMA IMAI” features works from the museum’s collection by Ryuma Imai, who passed away suddenly this past February 2025.
Just the summer in 2023, a solo exhibition was held to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the museum’s opening, highlighting Ryuma Imai as a promising artist whose future contributions were highly anticipated. While it is deeply unfortunate that this has now become a memorial exhibit, it would be grateful for us if you could take this opportunity to view his works and reflect on the legacy of Ryuma Imai.
