The new Wandance anime by Madhouse Studio is getting a lot of hate online. Many fans are upset because the dance scenes use 3D CGI, and it looks awkward and weird.

Some people even thought it was made by AI because the movements didn’t feel natural. (see comments for video example)

The show is made by Madhouse along with Cyclone Graphics, a studio that works with CGI.

They tried to mix 3D with 2D animation, but fans think it doesn’t look good. What was supposed to be a cool dance anime has now become one of the most disappointing shows this season.

The Elusive Samurai Season 2 will reportedly air in 2026!

The Elusive Samurai is an anime and manga series about HĹŤjĹŤ Tokiyuki, a young boy who is the heir to the Kamakura Shogunate but is forced into hiding after a violent coup led by Ashikaga Takauji overthrows his family.

With the help of the mysterious priest Suwa Yorishige, Tokiyuki uses his extraordinary ability to run away and hide to evade his enemies and slowly build a resistance to reclaim his family’s honor and restore the shogunate.

Someone on X said, “I can’t help but feel tears welling up at the decline of this country (Japan,) as the number of manga volumes of Rent-A-Girlfriend has caught up with Dragon Ball.”

To that, the Rent-A-Girlfriend author replied, “The characters just wouldn't move the way I wanted them to, and before I knew it, it had reached this many volumes.”

Fans found the response both humble and self-aware, acknowledging how unexpectedly long the story has become. As of now, Rent-A-Girlfriend has 44 volumes, the same as Dragon Ball.
