ハワイで100年超の伝統を継ぐラグジュアリーリゾートとして、2019年7月26日に開業した「ハレクラニ沖縄」は今春、『フォーブス・トラベルガイド』で日本のリゾートホテルでは初となる 5ツ星を獲得した。開業後、約半年でコロナ禍に見舞われたものの、営業形態や行動制限がある時期にも関わらず、理解あるリピーターに支えられ比較的好調に乗り切れたという。今後の見通しを含め、総支配人の吉江 潤氏に聞いた。
