It was a small but energetic team, working on a powerful and moving documentary about Irish traditional musician Sharon Shannon and her travels to Japan. Amazingly, Paul Brady and Liam Ó Maonlaí joined a session with Sharon at one of the bars in Tokyo, that was amazing moment! It will air on RTÉ, Ireland's national television and radio broadcaster.

Do you know about the legendary kickboxer Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, who is an American former professional kickboxer, martial arts choreographer and actor. In December 1993, his final opponent in the ring was Yoshihisa Tagami, in a match held in Las Vegas. Three decades later, FIXERS JAPAN assisted in their emotional reunion in Nagoya for Jet's documentary produced by Keanu Reeves,

This documentary project in Fukushima has been a profound and unforgettable journey, focusing on the tragedy of March 11, 2011. From pre-production research to conducting remote interviews with a local Director of Photography we are always happy to work with on set, it has been a long but essential process for us to reflect on and remember the events of that day.

From the initial pre-production research to coordinating remote interviews, Fixers Japan provided indispensable support. We handled everything from securing more than ten protagonists, local permits and translating nuanced historical context to managing complex logistics on the ground. Their work ensured our international team could tell this sensitive story with the authenticity, accuracy, and respect it demands. And a huge thank you to everyone who was a part of this production in Fukushima.
