Have you ever wondered how eel farming works in Japan? It's a fascinating process that combines traditional techniques with modern innovations. Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to sneak into an eel farm while filming for a Singapore TV show.

During our visit, we witnessed firsthand the meticulous care that goes into raising these prized eels. The farmers shared their deep knowledge of the lifecycle of the eels, from the moment they hatch to their eventual harvest. We learned about the unique conditions they create to mimic the natural environment, ensuring the eels grow healthy and strong.

The farming process is not without its challenges. The farmers face issues such as water quality management and disease control, which require constant attention and expertise. As we explored the facilities, we were amazed by the intricate systems in place to maintain optimal conditions for the eels.

In addition to the farming techniques, we also delved into the cultural significance of eels in Japanese cuisine. From sushi to grilled dishes, eels are a beloved ingredient that holds a special place in Japanese culinary traditions.

Our experience provided us with not only a deeper understanding of eel farming but also a greater appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the farmers. It was an unforgettable journey that we can't wait to share with our audience back in Singapore.

Do you know about the legendary kickboxer Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, who is an American former professional kickboxer, martial arts choreographer and actor. In December 1993, his final opponent in the ring was Yoshihisa Tagami, in a match held in Las Vegas. Three decades later, FIXERS JAPAN assisted in their emotional reunion in Nagoya for the documentary, where Yoshihisa now runs his own dojo.
