The time for sakura is now almost fully upon us 🌸. This will be my second year that I see the beauty of spring in Japan but I’m still absolutely taken aback every time I walk outside and see these (and many other) beautiful flowers ✨✨

One thing that I've come to love dearly in Japan is definitely the beautiful cafe-culture. In general, I find that food here is very focused on presentation as well as tasting amazing. This cafe certainly achieved both of those spectacularly.

Beautiful bridge in Ikeda, Fukui. For a simple ¥300 you can walk across it and, if you’re like me, fall through the wooden slats and give it a friendly hug.

One of my first big adventures when arriving in Japan was climbing the infamous Mt Fuji. Considered one of the three holy mountains of Japan, I can honestly say the only holy experience I had was praying I'd survive to see the sunrise.
