B**g Sadhu（ボンサドゥ）は、ペインター・金田大巧と写真家・百野幹人によるパブリッシング・プラットフォームです。
「dub non dub」展は、百野が撮影した写真作品に金田がペインティングや加工を施す共同制作を、書籍として発表するプロジェクトとして2023年にスタートしました。
同タイトルのもと、世界各地を巡回しながら発表を重ねてきた本プロジェクト。
それぞれの活動や旅先で出会った文化や風景から着想を得て、写真に手を加え新たなイメージを生み出す制作スタイルは、既存の素材を編集・再構築する音楽ジャンル「Dub（ダブ）」との高い親和性を感じさせます。そこから「dub non dub」というタイトルが名付けられました。
本展では、展示にあわせて新たに刊行される作品集を発表。
平面作品とあわせて、会場およびオンラインにて公開します。

B**g Sadhu is a publishing platform formed by painter Taikou Kaneda and photographer Mikito Hyakuno.
The project “dub non dub” began in 2023 as a collaborative book series, in which Mikito's photographs are transformed through Taikou’s interventions—painting, layering, and other forms of visual manipulation.
Presented under the same title, the project has been exhibited internationally, continuing to evolve through their travels and individual practices. Drawing inspiration from diverse cultures encountered along the way, their method of reworking photographic images resonates strongly with Dub music—a genre built on remixing, alteration, and the creation of new forms from existing material. This shared sensibility gave rise to the name “dub non dub.”
For this exhibition, a new publication has been released in conjunction with the show.
Alongside two-dimensional works, the project is presented both in the gallery space and online.
