Hamamatsu International Piano Competition 浜松市で３年に１回開催されている国際ピアノコンクール。

浜松国際ピアノコンクールは、1991年に浜松市制80周年を記念して、楽器と音楽のまちとしての歴史と伝統を誇るにふさわしい国際的文化事業としてスタートし、以後3年毎に開催する。
世界を目指している多くの若いピアニストに日頃の研鑽の成果を披露する場の提供と彼らの育成、世界の音楽文化の振興、国際交流の推進を目的とする。
The Hamamatsu International Piano Competition began in 1991 to commemorate Hamamatsu's 80th year anniversary of the city's establishment. It was started as an international project which could fittingly express the pride held in Hamamatsu's t

radition and history as a city of music and instruments. The Competition is held every three years, with three core purposes: to nurture young pianists and provide them with a stage to showcase their hard work, to promote global music culture and to encourage international cultural exchanges.

6/16（月）児玉桃さんが浜松市長の元を訪れました。
児玉さんは、世界中からリスペクトされた浜松のコンクールの審査委員長に選ばれたことは非常に光栄で、未来ある若いピアニストたちのために全力を尽くしますと、市長に熱い想いを語ってくださいました。
次回のコンクールに向けた準備が加速しています！

On June 16th(Mon), Ms. Momo KODAMA visited the Mayor of Hamamatsu City.
She spoke passionately to the Mayor, saying that she was extremely honored to be chosen as the chairperson of the jury for the Hamamatsu competition, which is respected around the world, and that she will do her best for the young pianists with promising futures.
Preparations for the next competition are accelerating!

The 12th Hamamastu International Piano Competition has now come to a close. Congratulations to the Prize Winners and to all the contestants for their performances!

As the competition ends, we wanted to celebrate the city of Hamamatsu and its special relationship to the piano and music in general, as well as its craftsmanship legacy.
