Mode Parfume carbon fiber hood is back in stock. This time we will explain the underside of the hood. The back of the carbon fiber is covered with a fine-mesh glass cloth, which is then coated with a black top coat. The back ribs are not simply cut and removed from the factory ribs; they feature a unique layout designed with strength and weight reduction in mind. The surface and back ribs are bonded together using a special resin bond around the periphery and a rubber-based bond on the framework, allowing for thermal expansion, contraction, and twisting. The duct is also fitted with a fine-mesh aluminum honeycomb mesh as standard, and a removable rain gutter is also included as standard, which allows rainwater to fall in front of the radiator, significantly reducing dirt in the engine bay. Also, since we didn't want the bonnet striker to rust, we commissioned J-Line in Miyagi Prefecture to make an original stainless steel one. The final point of emphasis is that the surface carbon is made from twill carbon by Toray Industries, a Japanese company. Of course, it is made in Japan.
