Ian O’Beirne’s new album with his quintet is out now.

Recorded at 音響ハウス（Onkio Haus Inc.） in Tokyo two years ago, featuring musicians from Japan, the UK, and the US.

Recorded and mastered by Clear Echo.

イアン・オバーン率いるクインテットのニューアルバムがリリースされました。

2年前に東京・音響ハウス（Onkio Haus Inc.）で録音。日本、イギリス、アメリカのミュージシャンが参加しています。

本日の発送分。

シールド性能、機械的な堅牢性、コスパを含め、何度も構成を見直しながら現在の仕様に辿り着いた。

オーディオ的な誇張ではなく、実用性と信頼性を重視した構成。

イアン・オバーン向けの次のバッチが完成。ライブと宅録どちらにも対応できるよう、キャノン、バランスフォン、モノラルフォンを取り混ぜた構成。色は現場での識別を考慮してのもの。

The next batch of cables for Ian O'Beirne. XLR, balanced TRS, and unbalanced TS in the mix. Colors are useful for fast identification on stage and in the studio.

モガミ 2333とアンフェノールのコネクタで、パッチベイ用TSケーブルを組み立て中。

Roland MKS-70 Super JX。

複数箇所の修理作業のうちの一つ。
ボイスボード上のEPROM ICで折れていたリードを修復。

破損部分を除去し、新しいリードを製作して再接合。

最終的に正常起動を確認。
音も無事復帰。

オリジナルICを残したまま修復完了。

Roland MKS-70 Super JX.

One part of a larger repair process on this unit.
An EPROM on the voice board had two broken legs.

The damaged sections were removed and new leads were fabricated and bonded in place.

Final result: stable operation and audio restored, while retaining the original chip.

Korg SDD-1000の電源周りをリフレッシュ。

元の電源部はノイズや動作の不安定さが出ていたため、今回は電解コンデンサ交換ではなく、電源ユニット自体を新しいMean Well電源へ換装。

直出しの2P電源ケーブルを廃止して、ヒューズ付きの3P IECインレットへ変更。シャーシグラウンド周りも見直し、±15Vと+5Vの内部配線も引き直し。

このSDD-1000が、イアン・オバーン氏のスタジオでこれからも長く活躍してくれたら嬉しい。

Korg SDD-1000 PSU modernization.

The original PSU had become noisy and unreliable, and I was asked to do a full PSU replacement rather than a recap. I installed a modern Mean Well supply in place of the original power section.

While inside the unit, I also removed the original non-polarized captive power cable, installed a fused 3-pole IEC inlet, updated the chassis grounding arrangement, and built new internal harnesses for the ±15V and +5V rails.

Looking forward to seeing Ian O'Beirne get many more years of use out of this unit.

レコーディングシステム用マルチケーブル製作、完了。

今回は、
・8chキャノン - 25ピンD-Sub マルチケーブル ×2
（オス / メス）
・両端25ピンD-Sub マルチケーブル ×2

4本すべて完成し、発送準備完了。

Recording system wiring package complete.

This batch included:
• Two 8-channel XLR ↔ DB-25 snake cables
(one male, one female)
• Two double-ended DB-25 snake cables

All four cables are finished and ready to ship.

配線地獄の始まり。
今回のレコーディングシステム用8chマルチケーブル4本のうち、まずは1本目完成。
そして25ピンのD-Subも1/6終了。

25ピンのD-Subは細かすぎて、とにかく手間がかかる。
あと5本。

The wiring marathon begins.
This recent order is a set of four 8-channel snake cables for wiring up a recording system.
First cable done, and the first DB-25 is finally finished.

DB-25s are meticulous, slow work.
Five more to go.
