We’re just 4 days away from closing our Cirque chapter and heading to a new one. If cold weather, good winter gear and 🐻🏔️🌌 isn’t a telltale hint, idk what is 😂

Motherhood has a funny way of putting “hard” into perspective. 🙃

Now, whenever I’m doing something that pushes me past my limits (a long run, trying to get a fitted sheet onto a mattress, or surviving a 14-hour flight with a toddler to name a few…) I remind myself:

I pushed a whole human out of my body.

This is not harder than that.

So whatever hard thing you’re facing today, remind yourself of what you’ve already made it through.

You’re stronger than you think. Go do the hard thing. 💪🏼

Been wanting to share a bit more of my story on here, both for new faces (hi! 👋🏼) and as a bit of a backstory to some big changes coming for our little fam 🙃

It still doesn’t feel quite real that we’re closing this basically lifelong chapter with Cirque du Soleil. We’re scared, excited, nervous, unsure we’re doing the right thing. But every time I’ve stepped into a big new adventure, it’s felt very similar to this.

I’m grateful to have a partner in life who’s as adventure-ready as I am, and a toddler who’s always along for the ride.

I’ve talked here before about identity, and that shift after motherhood. Being back on tour; as a mom, a wife, a stage manager and an artist, has taught me so much about myself. A full-circle kind of fulfillment that’s brought me a lot of peace.

Up next is an adventure of its own, one that’s brand new to us 😂 any guesses?

Honestly sound machines should add a “shoes running on pavement” sound effect for naps cuz it does the trick every time 👌🏼
