Tendonitis.
I injured my right thumb a little, so I’ve been exploring gentler ways to continue stitching.
Embroidery is not just work for me.
It is also a quiet form of therapy, meditation, and survival.
Instead of stopping, I am thinking carefully about what I can still do, and moving forward little by little.
Different stitching methods.
Different hand movements.
Different rhythms.
Perhaps this is also one form of Zen:
accepting change, adapting slowly, and continuing the journey one stitch at a time.
