We’re thrilled to see the book among this year’s finalists. The winner will be announced on 18 June, during the opening of the next edition of Łódź.

We have good news for those who missed the opening weekend of this year’s festival - there’s still time to experience one of its most compelling photobook exhibitions.

Our book DAME GULIZAR AND OTHER LOVE STORIES by is part of “Keep the Fire Burning”, a group exhibition exploring how myths, rituals, beliefs, and inherited stories continue to shape our present.

Curated by .colombelli, the show brings together a powerful selection of photobooks that trace fragile, often vanishing traditions - carried through memory, gesture, and storytelling rather than written history.

We’re very happy to see DAME GULIZAR AND OTHER LOVE STORIES included in this dialogue - among books that look at what persists, what transforms, and what quietly disappears.

📍 Chiostri di San Pietro, Reggio Emilia
📅 On view until June 14, 2026

Part of the Fotografia Europea 2026 programme, the exhibition sits within a wider reflection on memory, presence, and the “ghosts” that inhabit contemporary life.

If you’re in (or heading to) Italy - this one is worth slowing down for.

So… a few things you might (or might not) know 👀

Weronika Gęsicka has been shortlisted for her book ENCYCLOPÆDIA (designed by ) for the Prize 2026.

The project is currently on view at (until June 7).

And here’s the twist - encyclopaedias used to include fake entries. Fiction hidden in plain sight. And that’s exactly where starts. She reworks invented definitions and pairs them with manipulated stock images and AI-generated visuals, gently (or not so gently) messing with what we think is true.

Published by and , ENCYCLOPÆDIA is a carefully crafted photobook that plays with perception, credibility, and the fragile nature of knowledge.

For collectors, there’s also a special edition - limited, with original prints, packed in printed fake-leather cover.

👉 You’ll find links to both editions in our bio.

So maybe the real question is: how much of what we read do we actually believe?
