とっても大ニュース！ #東京都現代美術館（MOT）で特別イベント『IWAKANと考えるジェンダーと創造』を開催します🔥

来日中のウェンデリン・ファン・オルデンボルフと出会って雑誌を気に入ってくれて、IWAKANはMOTでイベントを行うチャンスをもらいました。ウェンデリンはオランダ出身のアーティストで、展示期間中に日本のジェンダー/フェミニズム/クィアの活動家たちと交流します。彼女がわたしたちにしてくれたように、IWAKANは「わたしたち、そして、わたしたちよりも小さなコミュニティの声を届ける機会にしたい」という思いがあるので、IWAKANがキュレーションして仲間たち、 .g.u.befree .mag を連れていきます！（協力してくれたみんなありがとう！）

IWAKANと考えるジェンダーと創造

日々の生活で感じる「違和感」とまっすぐと向き合い、語りの場をつくりだす雑誌『IWAKAN』との共同企画によるイベント。「もしもあなたの体がなくなったら、何をもって女性を定義しますか？」という問いに答えた女性たちの声を再生する「女声展」、フェミニズム、クィアに焦点を当てた雑誌やZINEを制作しているコレクティブによるラウンドテーブル、そしてアーティストのハスラー・アキラ氏をゲストに迎えてのトークセッションを開催します。また会場には、loneliness booksがクィア、ジェンダー関連の書籍を紹介するコーナーもあります。

We had the chance to sit down with Libera for two in depth interviews over the course of two years (2021 and 2022). In these personal interviews, Libera offers insights on how non-Black people can show up for the Black community, as well as her thoughts about the intersections of identity and navigating racism in Japan and elsewhere. 今回のインタビューでは2年間（2021年、2022年）にわたって、リベラと様々な話をしました! 黒人でない人が黒人コミュニティのために何ができるのか、アイデンティティーの交差性について、人種差別が日常の中でいかに蔓延しているかなどを語ってくれています。全編ウェブサイトにてお読みいただけます💓

B.G.U. is hosting an online publication titled “Performing Translations: Exploring Feminist Theater Pedagogies in Translation Work”. The work is available in Filipino, English, and Japanese from the link in our bio.

ユニクロ×ルーヴル美術館のタイアアップについて、皆さんはどう思いますか❓どんどんジェンダーがメディアで取り上げられる中、大企業がその注目度を利用して、「エンパワメント」を売る。実際に不平等な構造や差別をなくすために何かしているのだろうか。ファストファッションや資本主義について考える切り口にしたいです💭

What do you think about the Uniqlo×Louvre Museum collab? As gender becomes a "hot topic' in the media, big companies see it as newfound material to make more profit. Are they actually doing anything to fight inequalities and discrimination? Let's use this as a starting point to think about movements, fast fashion, and capitalism 💭.
