THE DANGER OF SMALL SIN! preached by Ptra. Myra Crespo

"Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed".

To Avoid The Danger Of Small Sin, We Must:

1️⃣ STOP SIN
• Biblically love seeks correction and protection
• Supporting Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:33 🔖

2️⃣ SHED SIN
• It’s not meant to shame anyone. It’s simply about removing what corrupts the church and preserving what is holy and precious to God
• Supporting Verse: Ephesians 4:22 🔖

3️⃣ SANCTIFIED BY THE SAVIOR
• We obey not to earn our salvation, but because Christ has already saved us. Our obedience is simply our response to His love
• Supporting Verse: John 1:29 🔖

💭 Point to Ponder:
• Even the smallest sin can slowly grow in our hearts. Let’s gently surrender it to Jesus and allow Him to cleanse and transform us, because His grace has already made us new 🤍

1️⃣ NO MORE SELF-CENTEREDNESS
• Offer mean "itatapon at wala ng balikan"
• When is the last time you sacrifice something for God?
• Nauunawaan ba natin ang laki at bigat ng kahabagan ng Panginoon sa buhay natin?
• Anong bagay ang inaangkin mo, na dapat Kay Lord?
• Supporting Verse: Romans 12:2 🔖

2️⃣ NO MORE SELF-SEEKING
• Holiness is not about the action, but the character
• What would Jesus do? (WWJD)
• Our motives matters, pwedeng Godly pero hindi holy sacrifice
• Self-seeking will produce worldly fruit, seeking God will produce Godly fruit

3️⃣ NO MORE SELF-SATISFACTION
• Heart check before sound check

"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth".

3️⃣ WAIT WITH READINESS
a. Don't Let Delay Produce Disorder
b. Don't Let Delay Produces Disobedience
c. Don't Let Delay Make You Forget the Day
d. Don't Let Delay Make You Regret that Day
