In August, CueRio supported Sky News Australia as a fixer in Japan during their coverage of the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima atomic bombing.

From the Peace Memorial Ceremony to interviews with survivors and researchers, we provided production support to help tell these important stories to audiences around the world.

Here’s another story I helped produce as a fixer for Sky News Australia.
This time we spoke with high school girls, a storyteller trainee, and a university researcher who is still working to recover the remains of the victims.

They are all deeply committed to passing on the memories of Hiroshima to future generations.

We are so honoured and fortunate to interview an atomic bomb survivor Mr. Tanaka, and a researcher Mr. Kayou, who is still looking for the bones of victims. It was really meaningful to hear their story and testimony firsthand, and I felt like I should look at everything a bit more serious like them...

We covered the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony of the 80th anniversary with Sky News Australia (*none of us is actually an Aussie). So honour to cover such a meaningful event. I accidentally met a girl who I worked with before and had Okonomiyaki together.
We did so many interviews (including with Jeremy Corbyn!!) and did 5 live crossings in one day. Well done guys!

We went to Haunted Hospital in Fuji-Q Highland to see if you can really cool down by freaking out in a hounted house. But before finding it out we were about to melt waiting outside of the attraction.

The last Monday we went to Minowa in Arakawa since that ward was chosen by Airbnb as one of "the underrated foodie destinations".
But there were no tourists at all and only found some foreigners living there!! It's a nice and quiet place though...
