Hit up some pizza, and beers witha few buddies in Nakameguro at Baird Beer Taproom.

We had 2 large pies, Hot Italian and the Brewers pie which were enough for us surprisingly.

Been going there for probably close to a decade and worth checking out for a night of great beers and solid New Haven style pizza in the Tokyo area.

Had this pulled pork sandwich at Smokehouse BBQ in Harajuku for lunch yesterday.

It cost just under ¥2000 and hit the spot as I was craving some BBQ in the area.

It comes topped with slaw and a surprisingly generous side of fries. It’s rare that I couldn’t finish them all as I still had some on my plate.

They have a variety of barbecue sauces to pick from on the table, and I like to try a little bit of each as I chow down. Hey, variety is the spice of life, right? ;)

But I do love fajitas, and nothing beats scooping the sizzling fillings and piling them up into tortillas.

And when you can find a lunch spot that serves it up for cheap, even better.

This is a chicken fajita lunch at La Salsa. For about 1,200 Yen, you get this sizzling platter of seasoned chicken, onion and peppers with either rice or tortillas. This restaurant is one of the best lunch deals in Yokohama (Minato Mirai) and I find myself here whenever I’m in the area during lunch.
