Two beautiful FREE spots you shouldn’t miss in Tokyo 🌿✨

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with greenery and beautiful city views, save these two hidden spots:

🌿 LUFTBAUM
A sky garden located high above Tokyo, with floor-to-ceiling windows, plenty of greenery, and panoramic city views. Visit near sunset for the most beautiful lighting.

💧 MoN Takanawa
A new cultural destination with art, architecture, rooftop spaces, and a beautiful water terrace that feels like a quiet escape from the busy city.

Both places are inside Takanawa Gateway City, so you can easily visit them on the same day. The public areas shown here are also free to explore!

📍 Takanawa Gateway City, Tokyo
🚉 Directly connected to Takanawa Gateway Station
💡 Best time to visit: Late afternoon until sunset

A little beauty shopping inspiration from Japan 🇯🇵✨

If you’re planning a trip to Japan, the beauty aisles at Don Quijote are definitely worth exploring. From hair care and sunscreen to sheet masks, there are so many everyday beauty finds to discover.

A few things I’d keep an eye out for:
🤍 Japanese sheet masks
💆🏻‍♀️ Hair care and treatments
☀️ Lightweight everyday sunscreens

And of course, the LuLuLun Hydra EX Mask from is one to look out for if you love adding a sheet mask to your skincare routine.

Donki can be a little overwhelming with so many choices, so I hope this gives you a few ideas for your next beauty shopping trip! 🛍️✨

🇯🇵 MINI JAPAN FOOD GUIDE: ABURA SOBA 🍜

First things first, don’t mistake Abura Soba for ramen! 👀

Although the noodles may look similar, Abura Soba (油そば) is a brothless noodle dish. Instead of soup, you’ll find a savory sauce and flavored oil at the bottom of the bowl.

So, how do you eat it? 🥢

1️⃣ Add vinegar and chili oil while the noodles are still hot.

2️⃣ Mix everything really well!
Make sure you bring the sauce from the bottom up and coat all the noodles. It’s best to do this right away before the noodles start to cool.

3️⃣ Taste, then adjust.
Add more chili oil 🌶️ or vinegar depending on how you like it.

4️⃣ Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

💡 The best part? You can keep adjusting the flavor as you eat and make each bowl your own.

Save this for the next time you try Abura Soba in Japan 🇯🇵🍜
