Released as an album that marked a clear departure from Hiroto Uyama’s previous work, Freeform Jazz is a passionate and ambitious project that delves into the core of his music, revealed through his experimental approach to composition. This year marks the 10th anniversary of its 2016 release.
To commemorate this milestone, roph recordings has announced a long-awaited vinyl reissue.
The first vinyl edition was released in 2017 as a limited edition by the German label Vinyl Digital, and fans have been eagerly awaiting a reissue ever since.
Since a domestic release was not possible at that time, this reissue will be pressed in Japan and delivered as a direct release from roph recordings.
Uyama Hirotoのそれまでの作品とは一線を画すアルバムとしてリリースされた『Freeform Jazz』。実験的に楽曲を制作する中で見えてきた自身の音楽の根幹にアプローチした、渾身の意欲作であり、2016年の発表から今年で10周年を迎えます。
この節目を記念し、roph recordingsより待望のアナログ盤リイシューが決定しました。
初回のアナログ盤は2017年にドイツのレーベル Vinyl Digital より少量限定でリリースされ、長らく再発が待ち望まれてきました。
前回は国内版でのリリースが実現しなかったため、今回のリイシューではプレスを国内へ移し、roph recordingsからのダイレクトリリースとしてお届けします。
