Ingredients:
• 1 (7 oz) pack fideo noodles
• 2 Roma tomatoes
• ¼ white onion
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1 tsp Knorr chicken bouillon
• 4 cups water
• 2 tbsp oil
• Salt to taste
• Lime + cilantro (optional)

Steps:
1️⃣ Blend tomatoes + onion + garlic + Knorr + 1 cup water
2️⃣ Toast fideo in 2 tbsp oil until golden
3️⃣ Pour in blended sauce, simmer 1 min
4️⃣ Add remaining 3 cups water, salt, cook 10–12 mins
5️⃣ Serve with lime + cilantro ❤️

🌿🌶️ AUTHENTIC SALSA VERDE (Mexican Taquería Style)

🌿 INGREDIENTS
• 1 lb tomatillos (husks removed)
• 2–3 jalapeños or serranos (spicier)
• ¼ onion
• 1 garlic clove
• Handful fresh cilantro
• Salt to taste
• Optional: 1–2 tbsp water to adjust thickness

1️⃣ Boil tomatillos + jalapeños until soft (about 6–8 min).

2️⃣ Add to blender with:
✔ onion
✔ garlic
✔ cilantro
✔ salt

Blend until smooth (or chunky if you like!).

3️⃣ Taste + Adjust
• More cilantro = fresher flavor
• More jalapeño = spicier
• A little water = thinner

4️⃣ Serve

🥩🍟 AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CARNE ASADA FRIES.
The PERFECT comfort food.

For the Carne Asada (super flavorful): 🥩
• 1–1.5 lbs flank steak or skirt steak
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Juice of 1 orange
• Juice of 2 limes
• 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
• ¼ cup chopped cilantro
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp oregano
• Optional: 1–2 tbsp soy sauce (makes it tender + juicy)

For the Fries: 🍟
• 1 large bag frozen fries (crinkle or shoestring)
• Salt
• Optional: paprika or garlic powder for flavor

🔥 1️⃣ Make the Carne Asada Marinade

In a bowl, mix:
✔ orange juice
✔ lime juice
✔ olive oil
✔ garlic
✔ cilantro
✔ salt
✔ pepper
✔ cumin
✔ paprika
✔ oregano
✔ (optional) soy sauce

Whisk together until smooth.

2️⃣ Marinate the Carne Asada

Add your flank/skirt steak to the bowl.
Coat evenly.
Cover and marinate:
• 30 minutes minimum
• 2–4 hours = BEST flavor

3️⃣ Cook the Carne Asada

Heat a grill, cast iron pan, or flat top (medium-high heat).

Cook steak:
• 4–6 minutes per side (depending on thickness)
• You want a good sear and caramelization

Remove from heat.
Let rest 5 minutes (keeps the juices in).
Dice into small bite-sized pieces.

4️⃣ Cook the Fries

You can cook fries however you like:

Air Fryer (Best crispy method):

400°F • 15–18 minutes
Shake halfway

Oven:

425°F • 20–25 minutes
Flip halfway

Deep Fry:

INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup white rice
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 can evaporated milk
• 1 can condensed milk
• 4 cups cold water
• Sugar to taste

👩🏻‍🍳 STEPS (Quick + Easy)

1️⃣ Soak rice + cinnamon in warm water 4 hrs (or overnight).
2️⃣ Blend rice + cinnamon + water until white + milky.
3️⃣ Strain.

• Salt + pepper
• Oil
• Tostadas
• Toppings: crema, lettuce, onion, queso fresco, avocado.

HOW TO MAKE IT 👩🏽‍🍳

1️⃣ Cook chicken
Boil chicken with salt, onion + garlic until tender. Shred.

For rolling the flautas:
• 12 corn tortillas

🍋 INGREDIENTS

• 2 large cucumbers (peeled + chopped)
• 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (4–6 limes)
• 4 cups cold water
• 1/3–1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
• Small handful fresh mint (optional but AMAZING)
• Ice
• Lime slices for serving

👩🏻‍🍳 HOW TO MAKE IT

1️⃣ Blend:
In a blender add:
✔ chopped cucumbers
✔ lime juice
✔ 2 cups water
Blend until completely smooth + bright green.

2️⃣ Strain (optional):
For a smoother agua, strain into a pitcher.
(If you want it pulpy and natural, skip this!)

3️⃣ Mix:
Add the rest of the water (2 cups) + sugar.

• 1 cup maseca (corn flour)
• 1 tablet Abuelita chocolate (or Ibarra)
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 4 cups water
• 2 cups milk (whole works best)
• 1/2 cup piloncillo or 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Optional: 1–2 tbsp cocoa powder for richer flavor

👩🏻‍🍳 HOW TO MAKE IT

1️⃣ Blend the maseca
In a blender mix:
✔ 1 cup maseca
✔ 2 cups water
Blend until smooth (NO lumps).

2️⃣ Heat the base
In a pot add:
✔ 2 cups water
✔ cinnamon stick
✔ piloncillo/sugar
Simmer until dissolved.

3️⃣ Add chocolate
Add Abuelita/Ibarra tablet.
Stir until fully melted.

4️⃣ Add milk + vanilla
Pour in 2 cups milk.
Mix well.

5️⃣ Add maseca mixture
Slowly pour in the blended maseca mixture while stirring.
This thickens the champurrado.

🍎 INGREDIENTS

• 12 cups water
• 3–4 guavas (quartered)
• 2 apples (sliced)
• 1 sugar cane stick (peeled + cut)
• 1 orange (sliced)
• 1 tejocote* (optional if you can’t find it)
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 4–6 cloves
• 1 piloncillo cone (or 1 cup brown sugar)
• 1/2 cup Jamaica (hibiscus)
• 1/2 cup tamarind pods (peeled)
• Optional: prunes, raisins
• Optional adult version: 1/2–1 cup brandy or rum

(*If tejocote isn’t available, sub with more apple + guava.)

1️⃣ Make the base
In a large pot add:

Salsa Verde:

• 1 lb tomatillos
• 2–3 jalapeños (or serranos for spicy)
• 1/4 onion
• 1 garlic clove
• Handful cilantro
• 1/2–1 tsp salt
• 1/4–1/3 cup water (if needed to blend)

Chilaquiles:

• 1 bag tortilla chips (or fry 10 corn tortillas)
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1/2 cup crema
• 1/2 cup queso fresco
• 1/4 cup diced onion
• Cilantro
• Optional: 2 fried eggs or shredded chicken

👩🏻‍🍳🔥 STEPS

1️⃣ Boil salsa ingredients
Boil tomatillos, jalapeños, onion, garlic 6–8 min until soft.
