このたび公安委員会より古物商の許可証を頂きました。
これにより自動車や美術品等の中古品の売買ができるようになりました。
海外へ自動車などを販売できればと思います。

We received an antique dealer's permit from this Public Safety Commission.
This allows for the buying and selling of used goods such as automobiles and works of art.
We hope to sell automobiles and other products overseas.

文政10年（1827年）創業の熊本県にある松合食品様へ、ボストンのケビンさんからお声がけ頂きお邪魔しました。
一つの会社で味噌、醤油、お酢を製造しているところは少ないとのこと。視察の後は、美味しいランチをご馳走になり、永野剱神社を見学しました。

Kevin-san from Boston contacted me and visited Matsuai Foods in Kumamoto Prefecture, which was founded in 1827 !
They said that there are few companies that manufacture miso, soy sauce, and vinegar in one company. After the visit, we were treated to a delicious lunch and visited Nagano Tsurugi Shrine.

宮崎の産品を海外へさらに販売できるよう努力します。

We guided a customer from the U.S. to a yuzu processing and sales company in Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture. A local newspaper and a commercial broadcaster covered the tour.
We will strive to further promote Miyazaki's products to overseas markets.

一昨日は宮崎の養鰻業のお客様を訪問しました。うなぎを握るととても弾力と力があり、品質の高さがよく分かりました。ヌルヌルがダメな人は握らない方が賢明です（笑）。
I visited a client in the eel farming industry in Miyazaki the day before yesterday.　I understood the eel in this farm are all high quality because when I held the eel, it was very elastic and strong. Eating eel in the summer is very popular in Japan for a long time, probably over 200 years.

昨日は農林水産省が推進する日本の農林水産物の輸出プロジェクトであるGFPにお声がけ頂き、山形に伺いました。色々な成果物や農産物があり、皆さん輸出に対してとても熱心に取り組まれていました。機会があればまた伺いたいと思います。

Visited Yamagata yesterday to attend business meeting hosted by GFP, Global Farmers/Fishermen/Foresters/Food manufacturers Project, which is subsidiary of MAFF, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. It was very good opportunity to meet many farmers producing various fruits and I studied a lot. Hope I can come back again !

巨人軍のキャンプ地である宮崎市のサンマリンスタジアムで新発売のジャイアンツチップスを販売するお手伝いをしています。
商品の補充が追いつかないくらいの売れ行きで、ジャイアンツファン恐るべしでした。
12日まで販売ブースでお客様とおしゃべりします。

We sold “Giants chips” at Sun Marine Stadium in Miyazaki city, home of Yomiuri Giants Spring Training.
Thank you for great support of many fans for selling well.

昨日は鹿児島県志布志市で開催されたGFPという輸出促進団体の会議に参加しました。
鹿児島は輸出に積極的な方々が多いという印象でした。
会議の後は特別に志布志港の中に入らせて頂き、コンテナヤードを視察してマイナス20度の保管倉庫に入って貨物の気持ちを体験しました。

Attended GFP, Global Farmers / Fishermen / Foresters / Food Manufacturers Project, meeting at Shibushi City, Kagoshima Prefecture yesterday.
We visited Port of Shibushi after the meeting and get into minus 20 degrees storage room.
Keep cool ! Haha

宮崎県が初めて開催する県人会世界大会に参加させて頂きました。
香港、アメリカ、シンガポールの懐かしい方々と再開でき、楽しいひとときを過ごしました。お誘い頂きありがとうございました。

I participated in Miyazaki Prefecture's Kenjinkai World Congress. Kenjinkai means a group consists of people from same prefecture.
We had a great time reuniting with old friends from Hong Kong, the U.S., and Singapore.

アメリカ合衆国独立247周年の記念パーティへ。
建国200年の時はホテル・カリフォルニアが流行っていたなあと、独立記念日のたびに思い出します。
I was invited a reception to celebrate 247th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America last Friday.
I remember every Independence Day that the "Hotel California" by Eagles was very popular at 200th anniversary of the Independence Day. And yes, I should remember Bruce Springsteen too.
