The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has ordered AirAsia Philippines to suspend operations at all government-managed airports due to unpaid fees.

The airline allegedly failed to settle repeated collection demands, leading to a cease-and-desist order issued on June 2 with a 3-day compliance deadline after receipt.

AirAsia reportedly owes about ₱271.94 million in unpaid air navigation, landing, parking, and passenger service charges from 2021 to May 2026, excluding penalties and interest.
