We are deeply honored and sincerely grateful for the official visit of the Governor of Shiga Prefecture to Hiyoshi Corporation. On July 8th, Mr. Mikazuki Daizo, Governor of Shiga Prefecture, accompanied by Director Okada and Section Manager Ishida, visited Hiyoshi Corporation as part of an official delegation.
During the visit, the Governor engaged in a meaningful exchange of views with President Suzuki and other representatives of Hiyoshi Corporation. He praised Hiyoshi’s core philosophy that “Environmental issues have no borders,” a guiding principle that has driven our international outreach. Under this vision, Hiyoshi has welcomed 1,181 interns from 53 countries for environmental training, demonstrating our commitment to fostering global environmental leadership.
As part of his visit, the Governor toured Hiyoshi’ s laboratories, where he briefly interacted with the two interns from India. This international interactions underscores the significance of people-to-people connections in advancing global sustainability goals.
The visit also reflected Shiga Prefecture’s growing interest in strengthening international collaboration, particularly with India, in the fields of environmental innovation and global partnerships. The Governor expressed strong support for continuing cooperation with organizations like Hiyoshi that are working to create a sustainable future globally.

Hiyoshi remains committed to contributing to society and the local community through initiatives that reflect our belief that environmental challenges transcend borders.
