✨Things I’ve learned when traveling solo ü✨

1.Self-reliance - Traveling alone teaches me to trust myself, solve problems independently and make decisions. Learning to be patient when things don’t go the way you expect it.

2. Embracing solitude - I learned to be comfortable in my own company , and often, solitude becomes a space for reflection and growth. Trust me every sunset and every gising is worth it and best time to reflect in your life ü

3. Flexibility and spontaneity - Without needing to compromise things and others, I am free to change plans on a whim and go wherever the moment takes my feet. I am free to just muni-muni in my hotel room and take a nap or wake up and start my itinerary late.
However sometimes this can’t be recommended especially if it compromises your other commitments and of course could hurt your pocket literally!

4. Cultural awareness - Engaging deeply with local cultures is easier alone(not every time). It allows for more meaningful interactions with people you meet along the way. (i gained friends of course and that’s what I love most during my travels)

5. Inner strength -Challenges during solo travel—whether language barriers (this one! Esp international ), getting lost(haha! Made a lot of ligaw moments) or facing unforeseen difficulties (ofcourse! Kahit gigil ka na)—teach resilience and resourcefulness.

6. Appreciating the moment - With no distractions, I am often become more aware of surroundings and can fully savor experiences. Yes to adventures dapat lagi! (Coming from me ? Haha who has fear of heights at takot sa dagat?)

7. Freedom from expectations - Solo wandering helps break free from societal norms or pressures. You learn to define happiness and fulfillment on your own terms. Though sometimes I wish I have some company to share with every highlight of the trip.

8. Connection to nature - as a solo traveler I find a deeper connection to nature, as wandering in natural environments can feel grounding and meditative. And personally there is unexplainable feeling whenever you are closer to nature I mean if you feel Anxious just a little breath of fresh air from the countryside or seeing just the lush of greenery is a relief.

9. Minimalism -Traveling light helps you appreciate how little you actually need, fostering a sense of simplicity and contentment. But this I think I need to master as typical over-packer girly (coz I’m a plus sizeeee! Hahaha to justify)
break free from societal norms or pressures. You learn to define happiness and fulfillment on your own terms. Though sometimes I wish I have some company to share with every highlight of the trip.

So ano na hinihintay mo ? Go book a flight and see the world! Ü ✨🤙

Huwag ka pumunta ng Sulu kung…

When in doubt, don’t.

Sulu is not for the faint of heart.

Kyoto,Japan, where history and and modern period blends. One of my top destination in Japan.
Home for over a thousand temples, historical cultures and also renowned for its traditional gardens, geisha district such as Gion and seasonal attractions for cherry blossoms in spring and Autumn foliage ü

A 2 hours Shinkansen ride from Tokyo or 15 minutes from Osaka ❤️👌

— Ninenzaka
— Hokan-ji Temple ⛩️
— kyoto tower 🗼
— Arashiyama Bamboo forest

Best time to visit early in the morning to avoid crowd or at night like what I did 👌

Daday Falls is located in the municipality of Alamada, in North Cotabato, Philippines. It’s a lesser-known destination, but it's part of the scenic beauty of the region, known for its lush landscapes. 🌱🎍

Your South Cotabato experience wouldn’t be complete if you haven’t tried wearing the T’nalak costume, the traditional attire of the T’boli tribe.

Even before this trip, I was already wondering, ‘Will they have something that fits me?’ because I really wanted to try it as a way of embracing their culture. And thank God, Punta Isla Lake Resort is size-inclusive. Kudos to the management and the team who assisted me. I got to try and enjoy my T’nalak experience, plus the lotus garden encounter. 🌿🪷
