Three Books published “three” photobooks this year, took part in eight book fairs in Japan and abroad — Kyoto, Arles, Taipei, Hida Takayama, Singapore, Tokyo (T3), Ibaraki, and Tokyo (TABF) — and hosted or supported exhibitions and talk events together with four artists.
🧑🎨Huge thanks to all the artists who generously contributed throughout the editing, publishing, and distribution process!
🖨️Gratitude to the printing companies, and to everyone who supported us in tge production with translation, proofreading, and interpreting etc.
📘And shout out for people who invited us to book fairs or helped us participate in them, and to the independent bookstores near and far carrying our photobooks.
🛍️And above all, thank you to everyone who picked up our books in so many different places; at fairs, exhibitions, online, or in stores. Those connections mean a lot.
🖐️From February 2026, we will start moving again: beginning with a photobook fair in Tokyo, followed by an exhibition in Tokyo, then a book fair and exhibitions in Kyoto, and more to come. Stay tuned for the details!
And of course …. a new photobook project has already started to take shape.
We hope you’ll enjoy seeing Three Books continue to grow, step by step, in 2026.

Three Booksは今年3冊の写真集を出版し、８つの国内外のブックフェア【京都、アルル、台北、飛騨高山、シンガポール、東京(T3)、茨木、東京（TABF)】に参加し、4人の作家とともに展示、トークイベントなどを主催したり、サポートさせていただきました。
編集を経て、出版、その後もディストリビューションに至るまで共に活動してくれる作家の皆様、一年間ありがとうございました！
写真集の制作過程でお世話になった印刷会社様、翻訳、校正、通訳などでご協力いただいた皆様、伴走してくださりありがとうございました。
ブックフェアへお声がけいただいたり、参加のサポートしてくれた方々、そして私たちの写真集を扱ってくださる国内外の独立書店の皆様、お世話になりました。
そして何よりも、さまざまな場面で私たちが手がける写真集を手に取ってくださった方々、ブックフェアや展示で直接、あるいはオンラインや本屋さんを通しての貴重な出会いに感謝です。
2026年は2月から、東京での写真集フェア→東京での作品展→京都でのブックフェアや展示….と動いていきます。
今年はヨーロッパにもまた行きたい….！そしてもちろん、新しい写真集企画も始動しています。2026年もゆっくりと進んでいくThree Booksを、どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
