Dear our Kickstarter Backers
Katoman here. We closed our kickstarter project “Keep the music alive at Beatcafe” on June 17th. We made it! Thank you so much to everyone who backed and support our project.
I’m working Survey (T Shirt color,size etc) now. I will send it to you asap.

We opened Beatcafe Online Shop ( https://shop.beatcafe.tokyo ) Now we have “Beatcafe T Shirt by Virgil Normal x Don’t Come x F-lagstuf-f Japanese only edition (f-lagstuf-f tag)”

We will add other stuff near future.

ビートカフェ支援キックスタータークラウドファンディング・プロジェクトが6月17日終了しました。皆様の支援協力により目標額を達成することができました。支援してくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。自分達の一番のゴールはこの場所を残していく、続けていく事です。これからもよろしくお願いします。今キックスターターの支援リターンに対する質問をつくってなるべく早くバッカーの皆様に送りますのでTシャツの色やサイズなどなどこちらに戻してください。

- Passed Our Funding Goal! We have 3 days more- (This from Kickstarter Update No.9)

We made it through! Kickstarter crowdfunding system is “All or Nothing” as you know. We were able to avoid “Nothing (No funding)” by your help and support. Thank you so much to everyone who backed this project.

I have considered about “Stretch Goal” for this project a few days. But I decided not to do this time.

Tokyo is slowly opening. It’s now into step 3,it means we can open until midnight. if we will be able to open Beatcafe until midnight everyday, It will be a little different from before... “Corona Shock” is deep... but I want to make great vibes there anyway!

I wanted to make this project a success with our past,present and future customers. I hope you understand this funding project is not our real goal. We want to keep this place Beatcafe as long as we can.

Thank You — with your help, we’ve already raised over $1,500 for our Split Donation Fundraiser. We’ll continue to release more merch throughout the next two weeks so keep checking our site for new items.
We also have another fundraiser we’d like to announce — our friend Katoman runs Tokyo’s legendary Beat Cafe which has been a home to Franchise anytime we’re in town. Katoman has always welcomed us into his community and shown us around town as only he is able to do. His business has gone through financial struggles due to Covid-19 and is on the final stretch of its kickstarter. We want to make sure it reaches its goal. We’ve designed a new zine to highlight some memorable moments in Beat Cafe, as well as basketball court photos we’ve taken in Tokyo. It’s two zines in one, Beat Cafe & Tokyo Courts, a super limited run available for a limited time for $12. *This will be the only item in our shop going towards Beat Cafe’s kickstarter, the rest of the sales will go towards our previously announced efforts for a split fundraiser between 70+ community bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizers. @ Beatcafe
