Be vulnerable. Tell Him your weakness. The Holy Spirit will attach Himself to your weakness, not your strengths. You don’t need the Holy Spirit in your strengths. The Holy Spirit will attach to your weakness.
That’s why the weak can say, “I’m strong.” Why? Because the Holy Spirit has converted your weakness. If you’re humble about it, He’ll convert it into divine power and strength. But when God shows you by the light that it’s sin, that’s what we confess. And the promise of 1 John 1:9 is that He’ll not only forgive that sin—He’ll cleanse you of all the 4,326 sins you didn’t confess. He cleanses you from all unrighteousness.
If you do one thing, He’ll do two. This is the grace of God. If you’ll acknowledge in the light that you were wrong, He will not only forgive your wrong, but everything you didn’t confess is suddenly cleansed. All—all—all. This divine eraser comes down to the blackboard of your soul and wipes it all off forever.
That’s the goodness, the grace of God.
