Kii Walk Kii Peninsula is the largest peninsula in Japan. We at Kii Walk strive to bring the magic of Kii's nature and culture to the world in video.

Kii Peninsula is the largest peninsula in Japan, where endless rows of rugged mountains give birth to beautiful rivers, sending them over rapids and waterfalls on their way to the open sea. Millenia of nature worship and Buddhism combine here in one of Japan's oldest holy lands, and modern Japanese still make pilgrimages and come to be refreshed by its nature. a to Kumano are registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and people from around the world are now visiting Kii to find a 'key' to their hearts. As you walk the through Nakahechi, past Chikatsuyu Oji, around the corner is a splendid weeping cherry tree, blooming from the end of March to the beginning of April. Its house is mentioned in the local Nogase Night Song. You can soak in the beauty of spring while relaxing in the local restaurant, Heian-no-Sato Kameya.
