Meet Zaina Binta Alam from Japan 🇯🇵

Zaina is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in International Relations at Tokyo International University with an 80% scholarship.

Coming from a family that wasn’t financially stable, Zaina had dreamed of studying abroad since she was a child. Even after getting into a university in Bangladesh, she still felt that something was missing.

She started exploring her options and found Japan to be a good fit. She independently researched universities, completed the application process, and eventually secured an 80% scholarship to study at Tokyo International University.

Through her own journey, Zaina has learned how important it is to explore the right opportunities, understand the application process, and take the first step even when the path isn’t clear. Meet Saba Hanif from the USA 🇺🇸

Saba is currently pursuing her PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Her journey to the US started in 2022 through the fully funded Global UGRAD exchange program, which gave her the opportunity to experience studying in the US for the first time. Later, she independently applied for PhD opportunities and returned to the US for a fully funded PhD.
