I may not make an appearance as much on this app as I once did, but I do watch & learn about the people I follow & the content this app pushes to me. I stay in the loop, trust. And I honestly wonder how a lot of y’all sleep at night knowing what is happening not just in the world, but in our own backyard every single day these days. It’s exhausting to witness the lack of care for others this country seems to be so prideful about. We can do better, not just for ourselves but for the collective. I want my neighbor to thrive over survive just like I want for myself and mine. Do you?
If you have an issue, take it up with God. No, not the one you advertise believing in bc it gives you status or power in a given situation. Actually do better, for the greater good.
And while we are at it, stop making everything “political” and I say that strictly in the sense of “that’s red/that’s blue.” Having morals and ethics goes above and beyond any politics, and that should NEVER be up for debate. I learned the golden rule at a young age and I live by it. Maybe it’s because I’m Black and female, maybe it’s bc my soul knows better than to treat others any different than I would want to be treated.
I still have hope that we the people can and will do better. Let’s do that and be that.
