Kekoa Tsukiyama, an American Nikkei reggae and R&B singer known as the lead vocalist of the Hawaiian reggae group Cityside, has relocated /based to San Diego, Southern California, and is resuming his career as Kekoa the Artist.
He has teamed up with Josh Cardinali (Stoney Eye Studios), a producer known for his dub mix battles with SCIENTIST the original jamaican dub master, and the guitarist of the popular surf roots rock reggae band Rian Basilio & the Roosters, and is currently releasing a series of massive EPs!
As the first release of his double-sided 7“ EP, he presents ”I CHOSE YOU,“ a love song that updates early 2000s Hawaiian reggae vibes for the modern era, and ”I GOT TOO FADED,” a Pakalolo tune filmed at San Diego’s finest Stone Brewing, pressed in a UK-style centre hole with cover jacket, 200 limited edition!

ハワイアンレゲエグループ Citysideのリードヴォーカルとして知られる日系ハワイアンレゲエ・R&BシンガーのKekoa Tsukiyamaが南カリフォルニアサンディエゴへと居を移し、Kekoa the Artistとして再始動。ハワイ諸島出身者とL.A.ローカルを中心に構成された人気サーフルーツロックレゲエバンド、Rian Basilio & the Roostersのギタリストであり、オリジナルジャマイカンダブマスター Scientistとのダブ対決でも知られるプロデューサー Josh Cardinali (Stoney Eye Studios) とタッグを組み、現在マッシブなEPを連発中！
そのダブルサイダー7” EP 第一弾として、2000年代初期ハワイアンレゲエのヴァイヴを現代版へアップデートしたラヴソング” I CHOSE YOU”、SAN DIEGOのSTONE BREWINGにてPV撮影を敢行したパカロロチューン “I GOT TOO FADED”をUKスタイルセンター＆ジャケット仕様にて200枚完全限定プレス！
