🥀 Shrine for d€ceased pets, which have become popular in the 90s.

What if had found this place? Would have he left?

Small beach in Ashiya, Kyushu. This place is famous for its oysters 🦪, which are considered a delicacy in Kyushu.

What are we going to do now that the World Cup has been over for a week? 🏟️⚽️

We try to understand Buddhism with some of the most viral moments of the competition ☸️🪷

🪷Karma does not only affect your next life (or lives), but can impact your current life. Retribution can be imminent, happen in the near future, or in a few lifetimes, you never know.

🪷When people die they are judged by the kings of hell, who examine their karma and deeds. After that, they assign a new rebirth based on how much good/bad karma one has created.

🪷 In Pure Land Buddhism, one only needs to have faith in Amida and chant the nenbutsu (namu Amida butsu, homage to Amida Buddha) only 10 times to be reborn in his Pure Land.

🪷According to Buddhist texts, after the buddha was born he was bathed by the gods in the heavens with pure water. He also walked 7 steps and 7 lotus flowers emerged from the ground.

🪷 Bowing and prostrating to the Buddha is a common practice found in Buddhist texts and art. The act shows honor, respect, devotion, and profound faith. When visiting temples people often bow at the entrance and in front of Buddhist statues.

By 1979 Kuchisake Onna 口裂け女became popular all over Japan and had been spotted everywhere in the country!

Children were so scared that they didnt want to walk home alone. For a while she was all over the media and people couldnt stop talking about Kuchisake Onna!

One legend says that her slit mouth is the result of a plastic surgery gone wrong.
Another one tells the story of 3 sisters: one had plastic surgery gone wrong; one had a car accident; one went insane and slit her own mouth (like the joker!)

Did you know about the legend of Kuchisake Onna?
