横浜市中区野毛にあるジャズ喫茶ちぐさは、「日本人ジャズミュージシャンを育てる」という故吉田衛の遺志を継いで、生誕100年・開業80年の2013年に「ちぐさ賞」を制定、毎年１枚その受賞者にアナログ盤レコードを制作するために、CHIGUSA Recordsを設立しました。
