🎋Tanabata & Bamboo Festival🎋
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We, YWFA (Yokosuka World Friendship Association) will hold Tanabata & Bamboo Festival on July-12th (Sat) 11:30-14:30.
It's a good opportunity to learn and experience Japanese traditional culture.
Children and parents can enjoy together and deepen bonds through cooking, crafting, and cultural experience.
*You're more than welcome to come in by yourself!

【CONTENTS】
✅Having "Nagashi Somen"

“Nagashi Somen” means flowing somen noodles.
Somen noodles are a type of thin Japanese noodles made from wheat flour, with a mild flavor and delicate texture.
The noodles are dropped into running water.
The noodles go down on a water slide made of bamboo.
Catch noodles with chopsticks when they are in front of you.
Dip noodles into a cool dipping sauce and eat them.

【What is Tanabata and Tanzaku?】
Tanabata, also referred to as the "star festival", is a Japanese summer festival
held every July 7th (August in some places) derived from an old legend of separated lovers.

【サマースクールのご案内✨】

夏休み短期英語教室を開催します！
今回初開催ということでトライアルとして実施します💡

⭐️対象の目安⭐️

・小学生以上
・英語学習意欲がある子
・英語しか喋られない英語漬けの環境を体験してみたい子

⭐️ねらい⭐️

普段から英語学習はしていて知識や能力は身についてきているものの、実際に使う機会が少なく、いざ話そうとしても中々言葉が出づらいという子さんを対象に、
英語しか喋られない英語漬けの環境を作ることで、積極的に英語を使う・話すきっかけ、そして自信をつけることを目的として開催します。

⭐️内容⭐️

２日間、メイン講師として英語ネイティブの外国人の先生、また日本人英語講師のNAO先生&KOI先生と一緒に、《日本語完全になし》で英語だけを使って実験をしたり料理をしたりします。

※子ども達が興味を持てるメインコンテンツに加え、間にゲームなども実施するので、完全英語でありながらも嫌々ではなく楽しみながら参加できるようにします。

※少人数制かつ講師3人＋サポート要員という体制にして、ひとりひとりに目が行き届く用に実施します。

３日目にはWFC（ワールドフレンドシップクラブ）の時間に、アメリカ人の子ども達と一緒に、簡単なアウトプットにもチャレンジするというスケジュールです。

（※３日目は参加必須ではないですが、学んだことをすぐに試してみる良い機会になるので参加を強くお勧めします‼）

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations should be made at least one day before 12 PM (noon) on the scheduled interpretation service day. Due to hospital business hours, if the contact date falls on a weekend or Japanese holiday, the deadline will be shifted to the preceding Friday or the day before the holiday. Late Cancellations or No-shows:

On SAT/MAY/24th, "Yokosuka・Miura 72km Michikusa Ultra Marathon" will be held❣
About 600 runners will run 【72km】 within 13 hours❣

5月24日（土）、「横須賀・三浦みちくさウルトラマラソン（72km）」が開催されます❣
なんと約600人のランナーが【72km】を13時間以内に走るんです❣
