Every evening, my daughters run to the phone shouting, “Daddy! Daddy!” as we make our video call. 📱 Their little faces light up with joy when they see him, but when the call ends, I see the sadness in their eyes… and I feel it too. 💔

I am Ruth — a wife, a nurse, and a mom of two beautiful girls. My husband is a teacher, but his work takes him far away from us. And though I’m grateful to be with my daughters, the ache of raising them apart from their father is something I carry daily.

I’m Ruth Felix—a wife, a mom of two beautiful girls, and a Kenya registered community health nurse. For years, I poured my heart into my nursing job. I loved helping people, but deep down, I felt a tugging in my spirit. I was constantly busy, rushing between shifts, and missing precious moments with my family.

One day, I asked myself a hard question: “Is this really the life God created me for?”
