KABARNET: Panic has gripped Kabarnet town after a young man popularly known as Vincent alias Zonko Classic and a self-declared DCP party chair for Baringo County, was reportedly abducted by unknown individuals on Sunday evening.

Witnesses say he was picked from his shop near SS area in Kabarnet town by plainclothes men who arrived in two Subaru vehicles.

He was allegedly bundled into one of the cars and driven away to an unknown location.

Vincent has been an outspoken critic of President William Ruto and a leading voice behind the "Wantam" slogan.
