EDUCATION SUPPORT APPEAL – VICTOR KIPTUI

The family of Victor Kiptui from Poror, Kapkemel Village, Eldama Ravine Constituency, Lembus Kwen Ward (Baringo County), are appealing for your kind support to help their son to achieve his dream of becoming a Software Engineer.

Victor’s journey has been one of excellence, resilience, and struggle.

He excelled in KCPE and joined Makueni Boys through the Equity Wings to Fly Scholarship.

Scored an A- in KCSE and secured admission to Multimedia University of Kenya.

Due to the loss of his supporter in 2017, he has faced constant financial challenges, forcing him to defer his studies multiple times.

His situation worsened after losing a well-wisher sponsor to cancer in November 2022, and his father a month later in December 2022.

Despite all these hardships, Victor has pressed on and is now due to join 4th Year, but a fee balance of Kshs. 300,000 stands in his way.

Students returning to Moi Teachers Training College, Seretunin after the August holiday were shocked to find the school gates locked and entry denied.

The confusion comes amid ongoing wrangles over the planned transformation of the college into Baringo University. The power struggle between stakeholders has left students stuck outside, unsure of whether to go back home or wait for answers.

Many are now demanding clear communication from the college and the government, saying their academic future is hanging in the balance.
