Being Kiborek is not easy. Being a young leader makes it even harder, everyone suddenly feels entitled to advise you, even when it’s the wrong direction. Leadership at a young age comes with pressure, criticism, and expectations from every corner.

As hinted last week in the growing supremacy battle between Kipchumba Murkomen and Aaron Cheruiyot, yesterday’s event at the Catholic Diocese of Kapsabet painted the picture even more clearly.

The two leaders shared the same podium, but interestingly, neither of the two acknowledged the other in their remarks. Instead, both only recognized the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi.

The political supremacy contest now seems to be quietly but steadily heating up and the signals are becoming harder to ignore.

Joined Hon. Wesley Bett and the residents of Nyambugo- Mukenyi Village during the funeral fundraiser of Albert, who sadly succumbed to acute meningitis. Albert was a hardworking carpenter and hustler at Makimeny Center, known for his dedication and resilience.
