Imagine being a little child, coming into a new place not knowing who will hold your hand, who will call you a friend, or whether anyone will love you. But today, something beautiful happened. The children have decided to name the new boy Terryl Baraka and they didn’t just give him a name, they gave him something even more precious: a family.

The love these kids have shown Terryl is honestly overwhelming. They have welcomed him, embraced him, and treated him like he has always belonged here. Watching them surround him with so much love brought tears to my eyes. Wow… this is the kind of love every child deserves. No child should ever feel unwanted, forgotten, or alone.

Welcome to your new family, Terryl Baraka. May this be the beginning of a beautiful new chapter filled with love, laughter, and hope. ゚

I took this little boy to the hotel for a meal, and honestly, I was not prepared for how much he wanted to eat. He ate and ate, like he had been waiting for someone to care enough to give him a proper meal.Watching such a tiny child eat with that much hunger was heartbreaking.

He has already experienced something no child should ever have to go through—being left behind by the people who were supposed to protect him. But today, he is safe. He is being loved. And we will do everything we can to give him the care he deserves while we continue hoping and praying that we find his family. ゚

A few days ago, this little boy had no idea where he would sleep or who would care for him… today, he is surrounded by children calling him family. After being abandoned by his family, I was worried about how he would adjust to life at River Jordan Orphanage. But wow… seeing him slowly get used to the other children has brought tears of joy to my eyes.The kids have welcomed him with so much love, and he is already becoming part of the family. Sometimes, a child doesn’t need much to feel safe again , just love, care, and a place where they know they belong #

Angel once had a sponsor who loved and supported her. But sadly, her sponsor passed away, and Angel was left without someone to stand by her. For a child, losing someone who believed in you can be heartbreaking.

But today… Angel has a reason to smile again. She has found a new sponsor — Kelly. Kelly has already bought Angel beautiful shoes, socks, and a school uniform. But what touched me the most is that Kelly doesn’t just want to buy her things…

She wants to change her future.She wants Angel to join an academy next year and receive a quality education.I have already started searching for the best private school around Bungoma where Angel can learn, grow, and have the opportunity to become everything she dreams of becoming.

As I watched Angel today, I kept thinking about how different her future could have been without someone stepping in.Sometimes, all a child needs is one person to say, “I believe in you. Thank you, Kelly, for choosing Angel. Thank you for giving her hope. Thank you for believing that this little girl can become somebody great.

And above everything, thank You, God, for answering a prayer we didn’t even know how to pray.Angel’s story is changing.Please join me in thanking Kelly for giving Angel a second chance at a brighter future.

Every morning, our children wake up with the same dreams as any other child. They want to go to school. They want to learn. They want to play with their friends. They want to grow up and become someone they can be proud of.

But sometimes, the hardest thing we have to tell them is that we don’t have enough money to meet their school needs. As River Jordan Orphanage, we are doing everything we can, but honestly, we cannot do this alone.

We urgently need your help with school fees, , books, pens, pencils, uniforms, and groceries.To you, a book may seem small. A school uniform may seem like just a piece of clothing. But to one of our children, it can mean the difference between sitting in a classroom and staying home.

Please help us keep our children in school.If you can donate, no matter how small, please do. If you cannot donate, please share this need for me —because the person who can help us may be among the people who see your share.
