As we chart the way forward for our county, we are committed to taking care of every interest and, most importantly, ensuring our young people are part of the process, not using them for dirty work and later abandoning them, but ensuring they are empowered to be part of the change we want to see.

Glad to engage with BUCOYA CBO youths from Bumula Constituency at the Eninga Command Center. We shared ideas on a number of issues important to the future of our county. I encouraged them to use their strength in numbers to influence good decisions. The journey is on, and the ship is big enough for everyone to come on board.

Lubembe Primary in Chwele-Kabuchai Ward was a home of football today as teams from across the area wrapped up a tournament supported by incoming Governor Hon. Tim Wanyonyi, alongside ongoing voter registration by IEBC clerks.

A former striker, Hon. Timothy Wanyonyi envisions a Bungoma where talent is first recognised, identified, nurtured, and turned into real opportunities for both men and women. The top 4 teams, boys and girls, received good tokens of appreciation from the Governor-designate through Campaign Manager Eric Makokha.

Congratulations to Sikusi Junction FC for lifting this year’s title, and thank you to all who showed up not just to enjoy the game but also to register as voters. Remember, for the future we want, Tuko Kadi na Governor Tim Wanyonyi.

Kipkorir Kigai might not be a name too popular to you now, but it could soon be one you refer to in the near future.

While addressing *Hon. Tim Wanyonyi’s* classmates from Kapsokwony Boys, he shared a biblical story from the Book of Judges, cautioning the people of Mt. Elgon against embracing leadership that may harm rather than help the mountain grow, emphasizing the kind of development-focused leadership *Hon. Tim Wanyonyi* represents.

He also spoke boldly about what the future could look like beyond *Hon. Tim Wanyonyi’s* governorship tenure, expressing confidence in a path of continued progress.

Mt. Elgon, like other constituencies, is positioning itself on the right side of history ahead of next year's election, ready to be part of the decisive voice that will shape Bungoma’s future and ensure the mountain is opened up for development.

The best ideas don’t come from offices, neither do they come from leaders; they come from the people. That is the reason we will listen more, engage more and act on what we agree on. The people have the best ideas, but we can only get them if we create time for those ideas to be brought forward. For Bungoma, the people will always have a say.

It is easy to choose a friend but we do not choose our neighbours. Neighbourhood is a natural part of life and God’s design, and it calls us to live together in unity, love and understanding.

I am grateful to have been represented by my team in delivering my offering, a donation of 40 plastic chairs to each of my 16 neighbouring churches in Tuuti Marakaru, along with a harvest offering of a bag of maize to 7 select churches.

May these chairs bring comfort to the people of God as they gather in worship.

Thank you for receiving the offering and for your prayers even in my absence. Asanteni sana.
