Western region counties’ Cohort 1 beneficiaries who are set to fill the gap left by those who did not turn up during the first training have now received their orientation messages. The BDS sessions are scheduled to begin tomorrow, 30th October 2025.
Those who did not receive messages from the region are advised to wait for Cohort 2 or 3, while those who will entirely miss this round should wait for Phase 2 applications next year.
Please remember to carry your original ID, disability card for PWDs. You will receive further directions at the training site.
In addition, the first start-up capital is ready and will be disbursed next week together with those who had earlier completed their training, as directed by President William Ruto.
The NYOTA Project is being implemented in a cluster approach, with the Western Region as the first cluster and Coastal Region as Cluster 8, which will be the last. These clusters may either remain the same or be rearranged depending on the NYOTA team’s planning.
For beneficiaries from other regions, please remain patient as there is no official communication yet from the NYOTA national team regarding your next steps. Selection is still ongoing in some regions and soon you will know your fate. Ensure your phone number remains active to receive any updates or invitations for upcoming BDS sessions.
More directions and timelines will be shared soon. Always be flexible in case of any changes.
