I asked my group members about some of the things that are causing stress and anxiety in managing hypertension guess what I saw?
They mentioned doctor visits and daily intake of medication with staying on low salt diet .
Let me share how we can make it easier to have less anxiety and stress about hypertension:
Make sure you are visiting a good hospital that gives you access to cardiologist.
Get your personal blood pressure monitor for easy monitoring.
Write your questions down and keep your blood pressure diary before your hospital visit, it will enable you to have good communication with your physician.
Educate yourself about hypertension, especially from the right source and not just random information on the internet.
Join a support group that speaks regularly on healthy lifestyle choices also where you can share experiences, learn from others, and get emotional support.
Embrace your medication especially, when your blood pressure is extremely high and refuses to come down, when getting the medication, check for expiring date and get more than one at a time so it can help you save costs for a long time.
Regular exercise, low salt diet , no alcohol and good diet will help in managing high blood pressure.
Finally don’t forget to inform your wife, children about your health issues, family support goes a long way in managing hypertension.

Help…I’ve had what I believe is edema for the past week at least and it just keeps getting worse and worse…this foot in particular. This is also my “dropped” foot, but the other one has edema too. I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to fix it and I’m not sure what doctor I should try to see…it hurts and feels like it’s going to explode. Help!

COME to STRIKE IT FIRST CLINIC along Lusaka Road Bungoma town. Here we use Acupressure, Massage and Natural herbs to strike that edema out of your body. Through our methods we treat the patient not the disease 😕

Hi all!

I joined this group 3 months ago after my mother suffered cardiac arrest on vacation. We’re so grateful she is still with us and have found that she has severe heart disease. Of her 3 vessels, 2 of them are 100% blocked and the 3rd is only 10% open. She’s unable to have any kind of bypass surgery because there aren’t any areas with good blood flow to make the connections and stenting is off the table because her likelihood of getting better flow from the risky procedure is slim. Her EF is 15% and hasn’t changed since starting all the new meds 3 months ago.

Besides her diabetes and high blood pressure, she leads a very healthy lifestyle and even with all of this, she feels really good with no symptoms (and always felt good even before her incident). I’m wondering if anyone is in the same boat? With severe disease, unable to get revascularized and feeling really good? I just want to be prepared if we can stay in this place for a while or if we need to start thinking of transplant etc. Please feel free to PM me and thanks in advance for everyone sharing their stories. This forum has given me a lot of hope when things have been extremely tough.

As per World Health Organization: "Hypertension is a silent killer that rarely causes symptoms. Increasing public awareness about hypertension is key, along with access to early detection and management."

NEOLIFE Super Gro is an economic formula that increases your harvest by as much as 167% more than crop treatment alone provided.

HOW DOES SUPER GRO WORK?
Super Gro acts as both adjuvant (aiding agent) and a surfactant (wetting agent)
As aiding agent it helps other agriculture inputs to perform to their maximum. Eg it acts as a sticker & spreader when sprayed with pesticides.
As a wetting agent Super Gro formula reduces the natural surface tension of water resulting to :
-even and faster pe*******on of water through soil.
-deep pe*******on of agricultural aids solutions such as fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.
-water conservation by reducing runoff and evaporation
-increase in soil aeration.

HOW TO USE SUPER GRO.
Ratio 1:1000. Add 1ml of Super Gro and dilute with 1 liter of water and spray on the leaves, stem and base of the plant. (add 20ml of Super Gro in 20 litre of water and spray 1/4 acre of land. Add 250ml of super gro in 250 litre of water and spray 1 hectare )
If you use chemicals to w**d your farm, allow the effect of the chemical to wear out first(4days) before applying Super Gro.
Suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor vegetation.

Here is the Story of Janet
My amazing mother had a massive stroke when she was 69 years old. Three months after retirement. The doctors told us that she basically would become a vegetable. She would never be able to sit up in bed by herself, swallow, or have any kind of quality of life. What upset me the most was they were having this conversation with her sitting in bed staring at us. I just kept looking at her knowing how strong she was. My mom never wanted to be on a feeding tube. She never wanted to be a burden to anybody and I need that. But I just couldn’t help but think that she wasn’t ready to give up. So I begged and pleaded with my dad and brother. I was able to get that feeding tube. Not sure what to expect. She obviously couldn’t walk, she couldn’t talk, she couldn’t read, she couldn’t write. So we knew that we were fighting an uphill battle. I figured I needed to learn as much about strokes and rehab as I possibly could. I began to ask a lot of questions. Quickly found out that I wanted my mom To be surrounded by the best in their field if I could find them. After about three weeks, we were able to take her feeding tube out. She was gaining some strength. She was not excited about rehab but she was also very sad and depressed about the state she was in. After many long conversations of talking with her, she began to work with us on her different types of rehab. We had her try swimming and knew that that would be the direction we would want to go and she became stronger. We had occupational therapy, physical therapy and most importantly music therapy. My mom had global aphasia which means that she could understand what you were saying but literally cannot get the words back out of her mouth to respond. She’s basically trapped in her own body. Her spirits begin to rise as she started to see progress. I was so incredibly proud of her. I started to hear her voice again when she was able to sing. Not many people know that when you have a stroke that takes your ability to speak, it’s your other side of the brain that sings. We darn near got her to almost start walking again. She was doing amazing. I just needed more time with her. That’s when the ovarian cancer snuck in. Unfortunately that’s what took her life. But for those of you who are around love ones that you see aside, follow your gut. You may just be the only lifeline that they have. And you never know what kind of progress you get. I’m not telling anyone that their decisions are going to be easy, but in my case it was so worthwhile.
Get some music in that room of his. Play his favorite songs. Touch him as much as you can. The human touch can do so much. You never know what can come out of this. And it might just be worth your fight. I’m thinking of you and your family

When by bad luck ones gets a mild stroke he/she will feel devalued for a long time and may have episodes of mental distress. But do don't be scared to see a therapist. Think about it, mental health comes from the brain which is now injured. Strokes can definitely affect your mental health. Give yourself time to heal take it one day at a time don't push so hard and don't give up either.
