OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM HON . LUCAS MESO MBS .

The development and progress of Busia County is and will remain the primary responsibility of the residents of Busia. After my tour of Duty as the Managing Director of Agricultural Finance Corporation, I set my eyes on working for the people of Busia as the next Governor. I have traveled and traversed all the constituencies and Wards in Busia County. I have heard the cries and seen the hope and aspirations of women, youth and men, who truly believe that we can outlive the wasted years of bad leadership, by standing together, dreaming together and working together for the future we believe in.

Through the Jubilee Party I sought nomination to run to serve you. Against my own will, the circumstances of larger coalition building interests, Jubilee Party has denied us the platform, and sought to defer your hopes and aspirations.

I have received many calls and heard from so many from so far and so near. Many choices abound. I fully appreciate your prayers and support, and confidence in me, and the future we must build together. In the next few days I will fully inform you of the path we must walk. Busia County is ours to build, and our dreams can never die.
