NAMBULABUCHIRO WOMEN GROUP - NbWG (In Samia language meaning – Desperate women without findings) is a widows self-help group that work together for purposes of transforming widows lives economically, socially, physically, mentally and spiritually by enabling them have access to resource management in Samia Sub County, Busia County, Western Region of the Republic of Kenya.
NAMBULABUCHIRO Women Group is guided by the vision of determination among team members which is…. ‘Perseverance Shall Always Succeed’.
NAMBULABUCHIRO Women Group was established on 9th May, 2016. Now close to 9 years since establishment NbWG team has never had an office. A specific place where they can be sure of coordinating their activities from. Meet as a team, brainstorm and gather information for future reference and growth.
As they continue their journey towards self-reliance, a critical need that is hindering their progress is lack of essential administrative equipment and a functional office space. Currently, operate without basic tools such as a computer, office desks and a printer, which are crucial for managing their group's activities effectively.
By acquiring these resources, they aim to achieve several goals:

1. Enhanced Communication and Coordination: A computer and printer will enable them to efficiently communicate with members, partners and stakeholders. Effectively streamlining their administrative tasks such as record-keeping, report generation and coordination of important tasks.
2. Improved Efficiency: Having a functional workspace will provide a conducive environment for planning and organizing their projects. This will allow them to optimize efforts and resources, thereby increasing impact within the community.
3. Empowerment through Infrastructure: Access to these basic tools is empowering, especially for widows who may not have had previous opportunities to learn or use such equipment. It will enable them build their skills, confidence and organizational capacity, ultimately enhancing their ability to advocate for their rights and interests.
