MANGARA FOUNDATION and KAGOECH FOUNDATION CHANGING LIVES: A NEW BEGINNING FOR SALLY JEPTANUI
Yesterday was a deeply emotional and unforgettable day for Sally Jeptanui, a strong and humble widow whose journey has not been easy. Her story touched the hearts of many, and with tears of joy in her eyes, she witnessed a turning point in her life—thanks to the kindness and support from Kagoech Foundation and Mangara Foundation.
Back in 2024, Sally’s son performed exceptionally well in his exams. But instead of celebrating, she was burdened with worry. With no source of income and no way to raise school fees, her son’s future was uncertain. Then came a miracle. Dr. Micah Kigen, patron of Kagoech Foundation, stepped in and offered full sponsorship for his education from Form One to Form Four.
But the blessings didn’t stop there.
When the reality of Sally’s living conditions was brought to light—a worn-out structure barely fit for shelter—Alex Mangara, patron of Mangara Foundation, offered to build her a new and safe house to call home.
And just when she thought the support couldn’t go any further, Dr. Kigen gave her a dairy cow to help her earn an income and meet her daily needs.
Yesterday was not just about giving. It was about restoring dignity, renewing hope, and showing love in action. Sally’s tears were no longer from pain but from overwhelming joy.
God bless everyone who made this possible. Truly, when hearts come together, lives are changed.
