What a beautiful way to wrap up the AIU Culture Week Festival 2026 whose theme has been โOur Cultures at the Cross.โ
Led by our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nelson Makanda, our Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. John Changach, and the Dean of Students, Rev. Canon Omondi Siwa, the AIU community came together to celebrate the richness and diversity of cultures represented within our university.
The celebration was filled with jubilation, vibrant dances, traditional meals, colorful attire, and warm interactions that reignited the spirit of community and strengthened our shared identity.
Among the guests who graced the event were Mr. Abenezer Hakim Adoshe, First Secretary and Head of Publicity, Diplomacy and Communication, Ethiopian Embassy, Kenya, and John Kipkemboi, Head of the Tertiary Department at Mpesa Foundation Academy.
Hongera to the AIU students from the various nationalities who colored the event with their captivating dances and cultural performances. Our staff, faculty, and alumni were not left behind; they also joined in the celebration, demonstrating the unity and diversity that define the AIU family.
Indeed, this was more than a festival, it was a reminder that our diversity is our strength and our cultures enrich the life of our community.
AIU, raising transformative leaders rooted in faith, culture, and service.
