Update: Kapchelos community is working to restore their water supply after the Arror River floods damaged the Kipkunur line following the heavy downpour on 1st November 2025.

The torrential rains led to the destruction of the piping, cutting off water supply to Kapsowar Town, Kapsowar Centre, and the entire Kapchelos community in Kapsowar Ward, Marakwet West, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Today, the community gathered together to help repair and restore the piping. The leadership is requested to team up with the villagers of Kapchelos and its environs to ensure access to clean water.
