Good news for Eldoret residents! A court has confirmed that Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (Eldowas) CANNOT enforce the new water tariffs just yet.

Justice Emanuel Washe issued conservatory orders on March 25, 2025 in Peter Kimani Wanjoi vs. Eldowas & WASREB, suspending Gazette Notice No. 12825 of October 4, 2024, which had announced major tariff hikes.
