So we are the same age, we went to high school at the same time with each of us earning zero income, we have just finished college/university at the same time, but you expect me to be driving and living in a house of my own so that you can date me? Since when did I start practicing magic? Did I join a secret cult where they offer me money for free? We are both tarmacking looking for the same job. We are both living from hand to mouth at the moment. We are probably waiting for the HELB man to start asking us to refund him. We are both struggling at the moment.
Yet you say you cannot date me if I do not have a car. You are 23 but you've already decided that you cannot date a man who does not drive. You cannot date a man who lives in a bedsitter - you want a man with a three-bedroomed house with ample space and the best furniture - and a garage. Darling, stop chasing the wind. With such expectations you will only get an older guy who has been struggling for the last 5-10 years. They didn't wake up one day with that wealth, they worked as hard as we all are. You think you will trap him? Nah. He knows your type. He will mess up your life and leave you. Then you will come back to me after five years of being messed up by such men. You will cry to society that all men are the same; all men are dogs - they just use you s*xually and leave you hang to dry. But darling, you only get what you deserve. You wanted riches, he wanted s*x. Your contract is just over so stop crying.
And then you will come back to me after those five years because you remember I had the hots for you back in the day. And you will offer yourself to me. And I will look at you with sad eyes, heavily disappointed at the turn of events. If you had only stood by me as I was struggling on 200 bob shs a day! If you had only agreed to live in my bedsitter and be there when I can finally move to a bigger house! And before I answer you my phone will ring - it's my wife. She stuck with me all those years because s

Pratik Joshi had spent the last six years building a life in London. A quiet, determined man, a software professional chasing a simple, powerful dream: to create a better future for his wife and three young children, still living in India.

After years of saving, planning, and waiting… that dream was finally coming true. Just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a dedicated medical professional, resigned from her job. The children’s bags were packed. Hugs were exchanged. Hope was overflowing.

This morning, filled with excitement and nervous joy, the family boarded Air India Flight 171 to London.

Before takeoff, they took a selfie—five faces glowing with love and anticipation—and sent it to their relatives.

A new chapter was beginning...But it never did.

The plane crashed shortly after takeoff...None of them survived.

In a single, devastating moment… an entire family, three young lives, and a lifetime of shared dreams were lost.

That selfie… now seen around the world… wasn’t just a photo. It was a promise. A beginning.
And now… a haunting reminder of how fragile, how unpredictable, how heartbreakingly short life can be.💔 Pratik, Komi and Their beautiful children Gone.

So today, if you’re reading this… please, don’t wait.
Say I love you.
Let go of old pain.
Hug tighter.
Forgive sooner.
Live like the future isn’t guaranteed—because it isn’t.
🕯️ Rest in peace to every soul on Flight AI171.
May their story awaken us all to what really matters.

Aldi Adilang, an 18-year-old from Indonesia, showed extraordinary resilience and faith when he survived 49 days lost at sea. He had been working as a lamp keeper on a floating fishing hut, known locally as a rompong, anchored far from shore. One day, strong winds broke the mooring line, sending him adrift into the vast ocean with no way to steer or call for help.

With only limited supplies on board, Aldi had to rely on his instincts and determination to survive. He caught fish to eat and used bits of wood from the raft to cook. Freshwater was scarce, so he filtered seawater through his clothes to drink during desperate moments. But beyond physical survival, it was his mental strength and faith that kept him going.

Aldi spent much of his time reading the Bible he had with him and singing Christian hymns to stay hopeful. These spiritual practices gave him comfort and courage during the long, lonely days. After drifting nearly 1,600 miles, a Panamanian ship finally rescued him near Guam.

His story is a remarkable example of human endurance, faith, and the will to live against all odds. Aldi's courage continues to inspire people around the world.
