After a long unprecedented delay, the MUSO Student Governing Council (SGC) elections are set to happen today at Moi University Main Campus. This comes two weeks after the postponement of the elections after the delegates boycotted them arguing that their preferred MUSO Presidential Candidate David Juma has unjustly being disqualified from ballot for unknown reasons; a move that left Faith Maurice as the only candidate, hence unopposed. This led to the Dean of Students Dr. Mutai re-advertising the position of the MUSO Chairperson, a move that attracted a total of 8 applicants, up from the initial 2.The elections will take place at the Conference Room in the Students Centre and will include ballot for the Chairperson, Finance Sccretary, Academics Secretary, Co-Curricular & Entertainment Secretary and the Social Affairs & Special Needs Sceretary.
